**** Leon! I'm still huntin for a legit bull sprig, but greenheads aren't THAT hard to find!

In your defense, they have been pretty scarce the last 3 or 5 years. Congrats, brother.

Congrats on the greenhead. I too have never killed a mallard Drake after many years of hunting. They are more rare than a 3 legged chicken where I hunt....some day....

I've been hunting LBJ for the past 6 years and shot 7 ducks. 3 of them where canvasbacks.

This time, I was at my lease.

Maybe we should hook up on a hunt.

Thanks man. He'll never win a field trial, but he goes when I say go, comes when I say come, and will blind retrieve all day long if I go my part casting him.

We've always had them on our lease, but we don't hunt that area (prolly the best area on our lease for ducks) because we have a lot of birds by the front flooded tank.

Ethan and my lil bear cub are great, D-Mo, thanks for asking! Isn't she a cutie?![emoji4]
P.S: she's the one on the right. [emoji6]

I will trade you 12 green heads for 1 pintail or wideon. Seems that all the places I hunt mallards are the norm.

We got some many pintails we pass on them. We're covered in widgeons.

My dog and yours look like they could have been litter mates. He will be 5 this year. Same color, pink nose, dark ears, and looks like temperament with the way the ears are dropped in the first picture.

Congrates on the drake. I have yet to get a chance to go duck hunting myself. But that right there will be my goal as well.

Nice work Leon. I'm still looking for my first pintail and redhead. Seems like I always get widgeons to come in!
