I've been hunting LBJ for the past 6 years and shot 7 ducks. 3 of them where canvasbacks.

This time, I was at my lease.

Nice. I have been duck hunting for 15 yrs and never shot a malard. Only seen a handful around while scouting but never have had a opportunity. But I hunt way south.

We've always had them on our lease, but we don't hunt that area (prolly the best area on our lease for ducks) because we have a lot of birds by the front flooded tank.

We got some many pintails we pass on them. We're covered in widgeons.

My dog and yours look like they could have been litter mates. He will be 5 this year. Same color, pink nose, dark ears, and looks like temperament with the way the ears are dropped in the first picture.

Congrates on the drake. I have yet to get a chance to go duck hunting myself. But that right there will be my goal as well.
