Why do rednecks store their boots between the cab and bed of their trucks?

At first I thought it was for rubber boots to dry them out but I've seen a lot of leather and non-water resistant boots back there. To me it just screams "steal me" as I've seen some decent looking boots also. It is a "truck nuts" type of thing that has no point and tells the world you are a moron or is their actually a purpose to this phenomenon?

Thank you and have a nice day.

So is it considered "high-class" if you keep them in a special bracket bolted to the inside of your bed?

Why do people claim to see Bigfoot and not have proof?

Oops, did I say that out loud?

I don't know why Rednecks do it, but keeps them handy, mud out of truck, and dry and clean inside. I hate mud in my toolbox and on my tools! If they are clean I may throw them in the box.

Easy there buckaroo. I never said it was a high class/low class thing. I was just wondering. And being a redneck isn't a bad thing at all if that's what you are getting at, it's just mostly rednecks I see doing it.

Buckaroo! Lol. To keep water out of them if they are rubber.

I've only seen rubber boots so I'm assuming they are there for work or an emergency as needed.

Easy access, tops down keep the insides dry....

The one thing I find fault in my Tacoma pick up, is that there isn't a big enough gab between the bed and cab to fit my rubber boots.
