    Benelli SBE 1 & 2 worth?

Hey guys, quick question, I have the opportunity to purchase a SBE1 and/or SBE2 from a buddy. Was wondering what they were worth based on the below list of specs:

    SBE1:
    Used condition
    Camo
    28" barrel
    2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2 chamber
    Mod choke

    SBE2:
Just like the above except left handed.

Not finding a lot of info on gun broker. Any info appreciated!
    Thanks

SBE 1 $850-1,000....you are missing 4 of the original chokes if he just has the one.

Not sure on the SBE 2....a guess would be $1100-1200....

My buddies SBE wears his finger out, not trigger finger but one behind the trigger guard. Not sure if this is a SBE thing or not.

I believe the SBE 1 originally sold for under $800 new.

I know someone trying to get a new barrel and it's dam near impossible. And for that reason I'd say get the SBEII

Now with rat said shoulder each and see which you like. Both have different barrels.

If you pass on the SBE 1, let me know. I'd like to pass the info on.

Price the extra chokes if you think you need them. $$$
I have a M-2, and really like it (3" chamber)

            Sbe

The one will accept a SBE2 barrel.
Interested in the one if you don't want it

SB1 was replaced by SB2. Smart is correct on price, 850 or so vs 1200 or so. Both are good guns. Might check on a Beretta. They have a new model out, I think it is an A350. You can get it, new, for about the same price as the used SB1. Check the reviews on it. I have an A300 and love it. Had I known the 350 was coming out I would have waited. The A300 is only 3" but dang it shoulders good and shoots great. You can't go wrong with any of these listed here. Shoot them before you decide. As mentioned, some shotguns just fit different people better. If i had to choose between a new SB2 and a Beretta. I would probably go with the new Beretta. Cheers

I'm gonna be selling my Beretta Extrema 2 after next weeks goose hunt for $850. Taking it as a backup gun on this trip. If you don't buy the SBE and still looking then.

If you can find a SBE 1 in good condition you'd better jump on it.... Especially if it's an HK

I have a Beretta A300 Extrema that was given to me as a gift, and I love it, just always thought Benelli's were sweet guns.

I just paid $800 for the SBE 1 about a month ago, just like the one you described. It was used but in immaculate condition with all 3 choke tubes. Hope this helps.
