Soup or Gumbo?

Tag soup for me, maybe gumbo haven't decided. I spent around 200 hours in the woods this season. I let deer walk early in Leon and by the time rifle season kicked in the deer have gone nocturnal and still are as of today. I am disappointed I didn't get to kill a deer this year but don't regret a second I spent in the woods. I love it out there and am truly at peace in the quiet woods. Luckily a friend of mine on here took pity on me and brought me a deer so the freezer isn't empty. Looking forward to next year and good luck to those hunting the rest of today, black powder, or mgmt tags.

Gonna have to take my angst out on some pigs!

Same for me last year. By second weekend bow season my dad stuck 2 so I got picky. Recorded some nice bucks but just didn't shoot. Any time in the woods isn't wasted. Always next year. Or 2 more weeks of muzzleloader season!
