Bobcat. Young cat with pretty markings. Brought my FIL out to the lease to see if he could hang a tag on a doe. We decided to hunt together and we're tucked up into some thick brush overlooking a heavily traveled game trail. We'd only been set for about 20-30 minutes when this dude stepped out at 15 yards. Hit w/ my .308 at that range. The cat's not very big. I always said I'd do a full body on my 1st bobcat, but I'm thinking I'll just get the hide tanned. Anybody know shop that does tanning in Weatherford or nearby? I've seen much bigger cats on camera at our place, so I'm going to hold out for a bigger cat for the full body mount I think.
