    Using an extension cord with a MES?

    Do any of you use an extension cord with your smoker? Masterbuilt said I could but it needed to be rated for outdoor appliances. I don't know they made one.

    Get one rated for the Amps it will pull.

      You ever notice you can get a 10 guauge cord but the plug will only be rated for 15 amps? Never realized why..
