    How far is far enough?

I hunt a very small property (100 acres). At least 60% of it is pasture, so I am limited when it comes to places to set a feeder. How far from the fence line is far enough? Don't want to tick neighbors off. They do not hunt the pasture adjacent to the pasture I want to put feeder in. Their closest blind/feeder setup is probably a 1//4 mile away.

    Thanks

For me It all depends on The relationship you have with your neighbors. If you could have a conversation with them that would be best. Also, Its not so much ticking them off i would worry about its more about where your deer run after they are hit. Make sure you are shooting away from the fence lines as well

I never really liked people setting up on the fence. At least a hundred yards for me

I'm ok with stands on the fence line as long as they're placed in such a manner they can't hunt my side of the fence from their stands. I also like for the feeders to be at least 100yrds off the fence line.

I would say 50 yds minimum but prefer 100

100 yards minimum, preferably where your stuff cannot be seen from the fence.

Talk with the neighbor but remember he'll be setting it for what's good for him not you. I'd just be considerate and wish you good luck.

Just go talk to the neighbors and explain your situation. Then put your feeder where you feel is the best for you.

Talk to the neighbor-we get along well with ours and have a blind on the corner of a fence line with a feeder only 50 yards in. We share game cam pics and agree to only shoot mature bucks and does. It works for us.

Talk to the neighbor. I'm sure they would appreciate the consideration.

I like to put mine at least 100 yds to give me plenty of "run" room for the deer once I shoot it without it crossing a fence. If you don't have hunting neighbors, I would like to set up even further from the fence. You never know when they are going to be out there making noise. I have one about 150-200 from a fence where I am at now and I could here people talking behind my feeder Friday evening from about 3:45-5. Very frustrating to say the least.

As long as your blind is facing inward from the fence line is all that matters.

I had one a couple of years ago that got mad at me.

His feeder was on the fence line. My blind was on the fence line facing into my property.
