To complete a feeder that is. I have 4 55 gallon plastic drums. What other items will I need to complete a good feeder. Obviously I'll need Legs, Some kind of leg mounting brackets, timer, battery, & funnell. What am I missing? Sorry I've never used a feeder in my life so I'm new at the feeder game. I've always hand corned, but I won't have that luxury this go-round.

I've managed to build the a few feeders without leg kits... or legs.... I like to hang them from a cable; because there are a few advantages...
1) If cows manage to get to it they can't knock it over and step on it.
2) Racoons have nothing to climb or hold onto to get to the spinner plate.
3) Its about $50 cheaper
4) A little creative work with rope and pulleys and you won't even have to use a ladder to fill it.
