Looking to go on a fishing trip this summer. Can someone tell me the ins and outs of a fly in trip to Canada? Also interested in a bass fishing trip to Mexico.

I did one a few years ago to Big Canon Lake lodge in Northwestern Ontario and it was a great trip. We caught a bunch of smallmouth to 5lbs on tops, walleye, lake trout and pike. We flew into International Falls and drove across to Canada and then took a float plane for about an hour to the lodge. They had several lakes to choose from depending on what you wanted to catch. You had to portage to the more remote lakes but even as a fat boy it wasn't difficult. You can hire a guide for like $100 a day extra and well worth it for a day or 2 to get comfortable. They also meet on the main lake everyday and cook up a shore lunch. I am thinking about doing it again this summer.
