Doesn't anybody take responsibility for the freakin' actions anymore??

Wife just called and the driver's side of her Trailblazer is completely caved in. It was sitting in her office parking lot (no security cameras) and evidently somebody was in a hurry to get home... . Some lady saw the accident but couldn't get a license plate as they sped out of there. She works near a high school and some of the kids will illegally park in that lot so narrowing it down to just office employees is gonna be tough. The lady who saw the wreck thinks it was high school kids....

This is the 4th time in 2 years my wife and I have been hit by other motorists while parked or at an intersection....and its looking like the third time we'll have to fork over the deductible for uninsured motorist or hit and run.....

I am so fed up with some of today's people it is ridiculous....makes me wanna just spit!

    Thanks for the vent....

      What are we to expect?

The "it takes a Village / Time Out" crowd has spent more than a decade telling a generation it's not their fault, everybody gets a trophy, and you are "owed IT". All to protect the precious self esteem............

I could spend hours "venting" on that topic.

Teachers and parents who have become more interested in being their friends instead of instructors, leaders and DARE I SAY IT? Disciplinarians.

Sorry about your vehicle man. But I don't see this country recovering from the damage that has been done, let alone the damage that is soon to follow.

        AMEN Legacy......
I work in the correctional field and nothing makes me want to spit more than listening to uveniles in Jjail talking about their "Rights" and how they are not treated fairly.
Nevermind the fact the threatened a teacher, or assulted someone. It is "All about Me" and society created this.
Hold Each and Every Person accountable for his/her own actions. Once that starts, the other crap will stop...

That's terrible. This is a different world than the one I grew up in.

Its kinda like what I just heard on Fox Sports. A caller was blaming Pac Mans body guards for his latest down fall ?????

I understand your pain on this subject. We've kinda had a few "instances" this last year also...

that does suck. I hit some car at BPS and I left my card for them to call me. The guy was very cool and appreciate I left a note for him.

His wife on the other hand hated me

                          QUOTE]

                          You got that right Mike.

I for one did not raise my 2 sons in todays fashion. I know there are some who would have thought I was just flat out mean for disciplining them while they were growing up, and holding them accountable for screwing up.

But I will say, the acts were rare but effective. My kids have respect for adults, they know they can stand up for themselves and speak their minds, but contrary to what alot of people believe.... there is a line.

My oldest is in college in Denton, and has thanked me on more than one occasion for being a "hard-***" when I need to be and trying to keep him pointed in the right direction, even if if took an occaisional boot in the rear.

He see's "other kids" acting, and destroying things with total dissregard, and pissing away an oportunity their parents may have worked hard to provide, and it makes him, in his words "ashamed and embarrased" for much of his peers.

He's turned into an outstanding young MAN, and I am very proud to say he's mine.........and

                          The Village didn't get him.

J Hate to hear about the damage

Sounds like you need to troll the lot for a few days looking for damage.

Young un's these days are a different breed....feral if you like. If that had been me 15 yrs ago....my scared *** woulda stopped wrote a note, sent smoke signals something cause I knew in the back of my mind if my daddy caught me I wouldnt have any *** to sit on for a loooong time!

You really wonder whats wrong with kids these days until you meet the parents!! Sometimes I gotta cut the kid some slack cause their parents are soooo screwed up!

I have been working with kids for 12 yrs now and this has been best quote ever "Aint no body gonna give me nothin......so I just gotta go take it"

Number 2 would be "It aint me"
