Getting new puppy

Every since my bloodhound got stolen I have wanted another. What says the GS. Should I get a male or female? It's coming from the same set of parents that my other came from. Y'all can throw some names out too. Thanks

How'd y'all know I have a deone over me 24/7. I emailed the potus one time to invite him hinting and now I have constant watch over me and have to wait the three days for a gun. Anyway, I will be blood tracking with this dog. Didn't have my other long enough to get a feel for whether I liked the male or not. Breeding is not high on the list just want a dog I can attach to

Lol! Not a lot of difference, one thing I have caught all our males at is sneaking in a investigation sniff of whatever else came by, whether tracking or pig hunting or whatever, seem like the males get distracted a little easier if the action isn't hot.
