I am not only reading half of it. I just didn't feel like posting the entire law which is a long one. I was only responding to someone's question.

I normally never throw in the illegal knife or club parts of it either when someone is talking about handguns. I decided to in some of these posts so someone wouldn't retort about those being included in UCW also.

I am fully aware of a vehicle under a person's control or a premises under a person's control. In fact I often say home or house because that is what most people are asking about and it can be any premises such as a store manager or a babysitter (assuming of age) when the homeowners are away, etc.

I teach the Penal Code and Arrest, Search and Seizure at the police academy twice a year. I also do an Arrest, Search and Seizure Core Course which is required of new officers before they can move up to higher than a basic police license.

If someone asks if they can legally carry a handgun while riding as a passenger in a buddy's car while not possessing a license, I will answer that.

If someone above asked a question about a vehicle or property not under his control, I missed it.

My posts are sometimes long enough as it is and I try to keep from posting entire laws in order to get to a couple of sentences.
