        OK I just took it off while at work and I can see the tensioner there but it moves around alot.. I just ordered a new one and the 2 metal plates that go on each side of the bar since they were cracked..

                          Take the tensioner out of the side plate, reinstall sideplate on saw, use a flathead screwdriver to push bar forward while you tighten bar nutts TIGHT. Even if your chain is stretched past where the tensioner will not tighten it this will work
