predator camo - what patterns do y'all use and why

need to buy some new camo and thinking of going with Predator. Got about $340 worth of gift cards and rewards points at BPS so may use them to pick up some.

    Deceptive Brown
    Deceptive Green
    Fall Gray
    Spring Green

for example here is a shirt that I'm interested in:

Game guard works best for south Texas hunting in my opinion.

I don't hunt S. TX often and want something that works in Colorado, NM, California, Montana, etc. also.

Slowly converting over is my plan as well but with $340ish to spend I may be able to move a little quicker initially. I'm leaning toward deception brown as well. At first I started with deception green as my favorite but the more I look, the more I like deception brown.

I converted to predator a couple years ago. I have the deception green. Our lease is all live oak and cedar so it's green year around and I love it! Some of the quitest camo I've ever owned! The polyester shirt and pants are my favorite. I also love the adrenaline jacket!

Fall grey fleece with the wind lining. Works well from teens to 65 degrees.

Currently sitting in a snow covered tree stand wearing my fall grey fleece suit! I own fall grey in both the fleece and adrenaline suits for the fall and love the way in blends into our oaks and breaks up my outline in the air, also own a shirt and pants in deception green for turkey season and early fall when its warm. Love me some predator!

Deception Green works really well with cedars and live oaks. Guessing you are covered in one or the other around Georgetown. It will work well in an early season elk hunt as well.

It really doesn't matter for deer hunting since they are colorblind. Deception brown has the best contrast which is more important than color.

Buy whatever is on sale and get a Shannon BugTammer 3D suit to go over it.

I also think mixing two camo patterns helps.

I get that and they really dont see in 3d either which is why the realtree type patterns dont work for them. I agree deceptive brown has a good contrast which is why the more I look the more I like. Camo really is about the buyer not the prey and I have money to burn and need new camo. Might as well buy some good quality camo that doesn't turn me into a big blob.
