How many that conceal carry have eve had to Pull and why

For those of you that conceal carry have ever had to pull you piece, that are not LEO, if so why and what was the out come

I have carried for 7 years and the closest I have come was when a pit bull came charging at my granddaughter and me while I was pushing her in her stroller. But thank God he stopped short, and the owner called him back. Just got my had on it ready to pull. Hope I never have to.
