    Still MS 251 C-BE

Looking at buying this Sthil 251 C-BE. I was wondering if anyone has this model and what are your thoughts on it? Please give the good and bad on it.
    Thanks

Id personally reccomend a model with out the easy start.
They are fairly easy to break if you pull real hard. But if you do get it make sure you pull easy until you feel the resistance then a little harder but not like you would any other pull. Cord. I have worked on more than a few stihl saws and the easy start is the only thing about a stihl i would not reccomend

I have the MS 250 which I think is the same as 251 it just does not have the new emissions stuff on it. Anyway I love mine. Tough little work horse that is always easy to start. I have a 18" bar on mine.

I've heard the 250 is the best one. I will be getting mine in a few days. I don't have any experience with either one but, the sales guy told me the 250 is the most popular one they sell.

I bought a 250 about 7-8 years ago and it has been flawless. 👍👍👍

You are correct went today to get the 250 they were out, Stihl had it discounted for Christmas. They could order me one but they are currenly on Back Order. The Back Order was a bit over a thousand units they told me.

I think I'm going to try the 251 since they had it in stock.

The ms250 and 251 are different saws but about the same size. The 250 is a little lighter. I have a 250 and it is awesome. They are still on the shelves and easy to find. There hasn't been a ton of feedback on the newer 251. The ms261 is the pro saw in that size category and has solid following but it is twice the price of a 250

I pulled the trigger on the 251, hopefully it will work out.
