You can buy it online but they ship it to you.

you can buy one online can take a screen shot of the transaction receipt, or it should give you a option to print out a receipt. You can buy one through the TPWD web page. You wont print a duck stamp just a receipt, which will last 45 days. You should get the stamp within 2 weeks or less.

Online it says that I can use my receipt as proof until it comes in, except for anything that needs a tag. I understand that as to saying I can buy the stamp on TPWD and print the receipt.

$20 and it's yours.

You cannot print it from home. You can use the receipt, but the stamp is mailed and needs to be placed on your license and signed, I believe.

Yes. It acts as a temporary stamp that is valid for 45 days. Since duck season is less than 45 days it will last you through the season regardless if it comes in or not. Carry the receipt with you while duck hunting. The GW can confirm that you have also paid for a stamp if you buy it through the TPWD site.

This is correct......I'm assuming you are wanting it for hunting tomorrow AM where a bunch of these other suggestions above are not feasible or doable. Just keep your receipt as a proof of purchase and you will be fine until it comes in the mail..

You're a little ways away from me, and I'm trying to get one before morning, but everything is closed. Wal-Mart wont be open till 7 am.

I am going to go the online route, then. This is from the website:

"Online Order Receipt: You can print your receipt and use it as a temporary license for activities that do not require the use of tags until you receive the permanent license document in the mail."

Only specific about tags, not stamps.
