Best advice I can give you is find a avid waterfowl hunter in your area. Ask if he/she will teach you to call. I would imagine they will give you one of their many old calls. I given a bunch out. Pay close attention to what they are saying. Blowing a call is very easy. Feed calls, hi/lo, etc are all easy to master. It is knowing how and when to call that is important. Tag along with any experienced duck hunter when you get a chance and just watch and listen to them. If you get out there and they are Barney blowing you got the wrong teacher. Good duck hunters don't blow on a call that much and when they do there is a purpose to it.Comment

We use a whistle more then anything I think decoys are more important then calling less calling is the best.Comment
