Has any attended the "Sheep Show" in Reno before?

I have not but I have wanted to go for a while. Lots of very genuine mountain Hunter's. I hear it's a great group. You should check out their auction stuff. It's usually pretty awesome and quite a few bowhunts. I have been to sci in Reno and didn't just love it but I think you get spoiled with Vegas. I would go in a heartbeat if you can. I would go but I am committed to sci in Vegas again.

In 2005 I attended the GSCO convention at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS. I went again in 2006 when it was in Tunica, MS. Those shows were incredible. I'm sure the WSF show is 10x better now that it's in Reno and because WSF is such a dang fine organization. I want nothing to do with GSCO (now Super Slam) but that's a whole other story...

Anyway, you should go if you get the chance. You'll have more fun than allowed by law. Like a kid in a candy store.

My FIL goes to that and a few other smaller shows that get tags to auction. Get your contact info out there so you will get a call on cancellation hunts.

Man I want to go so bad!!! I wish they had sheep show in Vegas. It's 1/4 of the price to fly and stay in Vegas than Reno. Lots of really good guys at that show.

My college roommate's dad is a big time sheep hunter and he's always talking about it. I'd love to go follow him around to watch him spend his coin.

Thanks guys! I am committed to Vegas also, but was thinking about adding this one after pheasant hunting with some guys from northern California that are going. They are both fireman and are really pumped-up about it as there are lots of incentives for first timers per our discussion. I am thinking of going as more of a recon trip for our local SCI chapter, as we need way more North America auction items.
I despise Reno (Vegas also) but somebody's gotta do it.......lol. If it gets unbearable it aint far to Tahoe!!!!!

I went to the FNAWS show when it was in San Antonio a decade ago. I thought it was a great show and enjoyed it very much. Would love to go again.

I wish they would move it to Vegas. I want to go but can't justify the travel there alone and it gets too expensive to take the whole family.
