Need help with fence material in DFW

Me and my boss have ventured into building fences and have hit a road block with our current picket vendor. They have gone way up on price and we're looking to find another quality business with good pricing. Would like to stay away from HD and Lowe's but its looking like we're going to have to revert to that. Thanks in advance GS

Lowes & HD aren't bad choices as you can go through and pick out what you want and return any bad ones.

As bad as I hate to agree with the above statement, you can go through the inventory and find what you need, generally a little cheaper then smaller merchants can carry. The bad taste is just from a super commercialized store that has "0" customer service and "0" care.
      Good Luck to you.

I bet your getting around 10-15% of bad picketsfrom there

Back in the day they were GREAT but have heard their customer service has kinda gone down hill

Have you tried buying from Leroy Jordan? They used to just specialize in redwood , but now that it is not available anymore they sell a lot of cedar and fence mtls. They also have it pre stained.

McCoys has had good choices when I needed pickets and even whole panels. Good quality and pricing.

I am in the same boat here in Houston, Average material list for a 3 rail 6'cedar fence with rot board is costing me $13.00 per foot.

Do you have an 84 Lumber, Sutherland's, or McCoy's? Try those places.
