Shopping cart list for a new DIY processing venture

I just got the call that my most recent deer was ready to be picked up and WOW that price tag was high.
That bill plus Smart's smoker pics got me thinking that I want to buy my own equipment, build a little smokehouse and start doing my own. I have two close friends that may want to go in so I figured I'd ask the GS what equipment you would recommend for this? I don't want to replace this equipment in 5 years so I plan on buying quality. Favorites will include bucksticks, summer sausage, regular smoked sausage, and maybe some bacon.

Give me some thoughts on brands, models, units, etc. Thanks!

Oh yeah, and this had a hand in my new desire to process my own meat:
I started construction on a new smokehouse several weeks ago. Its going slow, never seem to have enough time to work on it. Im making it out of ceder, it will sit on a row or 2 of cinder blocks and have a seperate firebox with smoke/heat piped in. My plan is to have this function as a hot smoker...

LEM #12 Big Bite Grinder has been the best we have ever used.

Can't help with the smoking part of it though.

        Grinder, stuffer, vacuum sealer
You can smoke in anything that is remotely air tight. We used an old run down deer stand, we reinforced the frame a bit and scabbed plywood over the windows and made hanging racks inside. We soak the wook chunks in water to make then smoke and place them in an old gas grill lid in the floor of the stand.
