Doe coloration???

I shot this doe yesterday afternoon:



When she came in with several other deer, I noticed that she was a much brighter color than all the others, The others were the normal greyish color, and the one I shot was very light colored. She was a very big doe. After the shot, I watched her topple over about 75yds out. When I got to her up close, she looked very strange.

She was very orange colored, with black mottled all through her coat. And her head was very dark colored. Here are some pics:







Anybody else ever see a deer with a coat like this before??? Could this deer be partially melanistic???

Never seen one like that. I would think if it's possible for one to be partially melanistic.......that's what it would look like.
