    No does

Anyone else not seeing does? We have young bucks galore, some mature bucks, but almost no does on camera or seen in the field?

Yep, all I've been seeing is bucks. The does are staying away from food plots and feeders

does are mostly what are showing up on my cams. I have been seeingn an unusually high number of spikes.

Seen 5 does in probably 10+ hunts. Pretty slow all the way around.

I have the opposite problem. We are covered up in does, but can't shoot em (DeWitt Cty: No does after archery season)

Same here up until this weekend really. Now I'm seeing the usual group of 3 here. 6 , 5. Had 12 at once to my left yesterday morning. Seems like after the first couple weekends of bow season the doe kinda scattered until after the rut. But yea. Seen a crazy number of bucks this year.

They seem to group back up when the cold weather hits.

Their was an article I was reading the other day about with all the rainfall and warm temps the does are staying brushed up. That they prefer the native food available right now over what is coming out of the feeders

That makes a lot of sense. Glad this discussion came up cause me and my dad brought this up to eachother several times. It's weird.

Have any wheat nearby? 20-50 in every field to the northwest of you.

Seen lots of does. Unusual part is lots of does still with fawns. Figured they would have been weaned and run off by now.
