    Nose Jammer

So we'll have a unfavorable south wind for the next few days and I've brought my boys up over their Christmas break for an extended stay in hopes of one, or both, getting a good deer. Our rifle blinds are set up better for a north wind so I'm a bit desperate to try something in an attempt to still hunt these sets and see deer. I'll occasionally use cover scents at times to mask my scent but I feel I need more than just the everyday doe pee. I've heard and read a lot of good things about this nose jammer so I was curious if any of the green screen had any first hand experience with it? Please share if so. It sure smells good and sweet so that's a bit of a worry already. Thanks in advance.

The one time I used it did not turn out well. Sprayed it on nearby vegation on a trail the deer were using and it spooked them.

I never really care about the wind in a rifle blind. Can you close the windows where the wind is coming from?

We can close windows...and most are 150yds off feeders. One is a tower 20ft in the air but the others are on short risers. I just know it's hard to beat their nose so thinking outside the box a bit with this nose jammer.

This! Just keep the opened windows down to minimum. Just open when ready shoot if have to. You can get away with a litle noise over them smelling you. I wouldnt risk using a new smell to them, just my thoughts. Good luck!

I've had luck using the Nose Jammer. The first 2 times I used it I had deer straight downwind and they actually came closer to check out what the smell was. It seems to work best the first time the deer smell it.

Can you build some kind of natural ground blind and wear camo on the other side of the feeders so the wind is correct? I've never had much luck when the wind is wrong. My motto is don't mess with the wind.

                          It's cheaper to buy vanilla.
