The text from UTA originally said a gun....cant fault someone else for reporting what UTA sent out....

A camera and equipment got mistaken for a firearm at UT.
Probably one of those db professors/bead choker and bockenstock wearing pansy students wanting to banning campus carry..

UTA does have a very large number of foreign students many of which are from those countries that practice jihad. Better safe than sorry.

This is what's wrong with the media... Want to be the first to drop a story so details don't matter. I realize that was not OP's intent but it just reminded me of what I truly believe: If the media would quit covering these mass shootings they would quit happening. /rant

People are at least being watchful and that is good. I was at the Botanic Gardens and a lady came up to the cop working security and said there was a man with a gun coming in from the parking lot. I saw the guy - he was also a photographer. He had a monopod over his shoulder on a strap and from a distance it dang sure looked like a rifle barrel sticking up.
