I chrony'd my 45lb Samick Sage this weekend. 27" draw, 402gr arrow. 198fps. Since it is fairly well accepted that 40lbs is a standard minimum draw weight for ethical hunting, I am using this velocity as a benchmark for determining when my son's bow has enough power to take him bow hunting for the first time.
Then I chrony'd my son's Mission Craze. 24.5lbs, 21" draw, 280gr arrow. 125fps.
If, and I'm not sure it's true, velocity increases linearly with draw weight then my son will be shooting at 200fps at 40lbs, right around the generally accepted hunting weight minimum. I know arrow weight has a lot to do with KE and momentum after impact but I know that 40lbs with a youth arrow will kill cleanly so I'm not going to get too hung up on the difference in arrow mass.
