    Custom Fit Hunting Pants

I ordered some pants online and they had sort of a funny fit. My wife said to send them back and go with another pair, but I like the pattern so I decided to contact a local tailor. This fella is going to cut the back and install a panel with elastic so I can layer up and the pants will accommodate, he is going to alter the inseam for more mobility, and custom fit the legs so there isn't so much slack. I never thought I would go see a tailor for my camo, but heck, if it turns out I may just be back with more pairs! Has anyone else ever had some hunting pants custom built?

I've thought about it. Hard to find pants with a 32" waist and 35" quads. Switched to Kryptek this year though. They got stretchy pants! So now I'm good!

I have the same problem in all pants. I have to buy 38" waist to fit comfortably. I normally rip khaki shorts. Thank God I am a coach and can wear athletic shorts to mostly anything

Yep, I've been working in gyms the last few years but just finished my teaching cert. I can't wear normal pants.

Nike and Hurley make khakis that look normal but are really made of the stretchy, breathable, board short material if you haven't seen them. That's all I wear.

Yeah I have a pair of something my wife found, not sure of brand, but they refuse to rip.

Coaching pants are a pain to find too. Small school so I kick to our kids and I found some black pants that lasted this year that are good.

Nike makes some good big man shorts/pants but hot dang they are pricey for how fast I rip them.
