Does anyone own a Beretta Storm PX 40

I'm wanting to buy a Beretta Storm PX 40. But before I do that I thought I would as here on TBH if anyone owns one. If so can you tell me the pro and con of the pistol.

Can't speak from personal experience, but a friend of mine had one for awhile and said it was OK until he bought a Glock. Now he wishes he owned two Glock's instead of a Berretta and a Glock.

I had one a while back and I sold it for a Springfield XD9. I didn't really like the way it felt in my hand and I'm really glad I made the change, the Springfield is amazing.

I have a Beretta Cougar, pre-cursor and all metal version of the Px4 storm. Love the pistol but is a bit heavier than the storm since it's frame and slide are not polymer. The de-cocking option is what I wanted in a pistol and both the Storm and Cougar have it.....just that's the way I roll! For a plinker and for use other than carry...it's a good pistol..is a bit chucky for conceal though.

I have one in 9mm and like it. It's like any other firearm though, it fits you or it doesn't. For what it's worth, I don't like Glocks. I've shot several different models and I can honestly say that I'll never buy one. Glocks are great, I know quite a few folks who love them, I just don't like the fit for me.

I have the 9mm and it's my carry piece.

It fits my hand, I shoot it well, and I have tried a wide range of other guns.

            I have the compact version.

I have a PX4 F in 40 S&W and like it. It has never jammed on me and is easy to take apart to clean. I don't like that the sights are fixed but if I was willing to pony up I could get some adjustable sights.

It fits my big hands and is pleasant to shoot. It has interchangeable backstraps for the grip that are magnetic, but mine has never moved an inch. It has a ambidextrous safety on it which is a plus for me but a con for some other folks. Mine can be converted to hammerless, but I have never done it.

It is accurate, but I find that after a few rounds I tend to drift left and down. It may be my grip.

I own one and have had it for several years now. I would guess I have close to about 2K rounds through it. I have never had a malfunction in any way and it is a very accurate pistol. I like the way it fits my hand and it is my favorite pistol to shoot. Some people may not like it because it has a hammer and a safety/decocker.

I have the PX4 Storm 9mm. I love the gun. Easy to shoot and feels great in my hand. The only problem I have had with it is that with girls or young kids, it will sometimes jam due to "limp wristing". My wife can shoot all of my pistols side by side, but the PX4 is the only one that will sometimes not eject the empty casing.

                    I had a PX4 in .40.
I loved it, but wanted to consolidate down to only 9mm and .45 so I sold it.
                    Pro's:
                    • Soft shooting with rotating barrel design.
                    • Thin grips were very comfortable.
                    • I really liked the fit and finish.
                    • 100% reliable.

                    Con's:
                    • It is a decently large handgun. Best suited for night stand, range use, or as a primary carry arm such as in a police application
                    • At the time there werent too many holsters and other accessories available. This was a few years ago though.

I've had the PX4 Storm .40 "compact" and loved it. I have since sold all of my .40's and now have the Storm in a "sub compact" 9mm. It is great for carry and is the only gun I will carry that is not a 1911. Beretta makes quality weapons and I have had nothing but great experiences with any weapon of theirs I've owned.
