I have 4 dozen in 3 different brands that shoot out of my bow.
I have 5 arrows that I practice with. One day I'll bowhunt again.

4 dozen on hand and restock if I break or lose more than 6

I keep 5 ready to go with broadheads in bow case with another 6 broadhead arrows shot and marked ready to go in bow case as well.

I try to keep another dozen or so for practice and marking them for next round of hunting arrows. I typically break or lose 6-8 per calendar year. Depends on how much I get to shoot.

1/2 dozen in quiver & another 1/2 dozen in bow case for replacements.

A dozen at least. I prefer 1-1/2 dozen

Usually a dozen or better off each type for each bow

This is what I do as well.
But that could change, this is my first year of WT Hunting

Try and have at least 2 doz. for each bow. As soon as I break or lose a couple I buy another dozen. As far as while hinting I have five in the quiver, and at least 2 doz at camp. So if I break or lose one or two or three or four during the day I resupply that night and good to go in the am. Same with broad heads, but have more of them as I may shoot but not lose or brake the arrow but switch new heads.

I've gone through half a dozen this season. Pigs can be tough on arrows and hunting in rocky soil doubles the chance of ruining them. I like to keep a couple dozen plus my practice arrows.

Couple dz at all times for my longbows. Usually lose or break about a dz or so a year.

I keep a half dozen to hunt and another half to practice. If I go to south Texas or the hill country where there are lots of rocks and a target rich environment with the possibly of hogs, exotics, etc I will bring a dozen tipped w broad heads.
