Decided to sit with my son in the popup this morning instead of going over to my tree stand. I'm hoping to catch his 1st bow kill on video. I wore a light fleece and had to shed it within 3 mins of getting in this thing. I told my son the dame thing.....I cannot believe we're in the middle of December.

It was 73 degrees here yesterday. It's already snowed once. We have crazy weather here too though so maybe it's not all that unusual. I'm not going to complain. I don't like brutally cold weather very much. I tolerate it but I'd rather it was 70 degrees all the time.

Not to brag, but I saw a 15 pound possum driving to the stand and I killed a dozen wasps after I got settled in.

Really blowing now and the sun is not even up yet. I am not real comfortable flinging arrows at animals in a strong crosswind but we'll see how I feel if something shows up
