And if the he hasn't been devoured by coyotes the meat surely won't be good. That's tough but I'm still hoping he can recover the antlers at least.

For sure. He's pretty upset...that's the tough part about shooting on a Thursday when you have to work the next day.

On another note...I just shot a monster 8 with my bow down here in Freer. Should have started a live hunt thread but I didn't think he'd come in the first evening. The shot felt great so we those LDPs should be posted soon.
