I don't normally hunt in North Houston so I don't know where to go.
If I get lucky this weekend who do y'all like in the Klein area?

There was a small place by hooks airport i used a couple times when I was down there. Made good sausage, cost wasn't too bad.

The bigger question, how'd you manage to get a place to hunt on in the Klein area?

It's a little patch that my brother owns. The world built up around it. Supposedly covered up with deer. I doubt they've ever been hunted.

Dumb question but why not transport back to the dfw area so that when its ready, you don't have to drive so far? Did I miss something about that?

I tried real hard to get permission to hunt the woods along cutten between louetta and cypresswood. Saw some studs browsing in the pipelines down there. There's definitely pockets of good deer, and packed tightly.

I have a freezer full here from my Red Stag this year. I'll probably leave it in Houston for my family down there.
