    Any exotics San Saba County?

I was offered a spot on a lease in San Saba County about half way between San Saba and Brownwood. Just wondering if there are any exotics in the area. They haven't seen any on this lease yet.

First and last time we have seen them in 26 years.

Our lease owner has a herd of like 100 that stay behind his house in San Saba. Less than a mile from town square.

Our 2,500 acre lease is 15 miles south of San Saba (still SS county); we occasionally see blackbuck that cross the neighbor's fence but that's it.

San Saba is not the place to go for exotics. Hog, turkey and some good bucks.

              Head to Junction for exotics.

We see an axis every now and again and our neighbor has seen blackbuck before. But no real herd to speak of. At least not around us. We are up on 500 before Regency.

We are at the corner of 45 and 574 and have never seen Axis, we have 3 or 4 blackbuck that have been on the place for a few years now.

I think I have seen you (jakeb03) unloading your 4 wheeler in the ditch as i was heading to my place off 500. That is a really cool looking place you have on the river.

The lease manager told me they had never seen an exotic on this place. I was just hoping they were at least in the County. Not a deal breaker for me, just would have been nice. From what I'm seeing $10/acre is a pretty good deal in that area? The lease has electric but no water.
