Same one I carry concealed most of the time. Para Ordnance 1911, single stack alloy frame, 4.25". It can be a little hard to carry concealed for long periods of time so looking forward to OC. Comfort is key, if you aren't comfortable carrying you likely will not carry.

Mine is the Para Slim Hawg and it is my winter carry concealed. Just never could get used to it under normal summer attire. I will probably never OC so no big changes coming for me.

Pmr -30 22 mag with 30 rounds of hollow points.

That is an awesome house gun for someone that doesn't deal well with recoil and as you say 30 rounds would get someones attention really quick. BTW, I have a really hard time getting a full mag and usually run out of thumb at about 25..!

I plan on getting an owb holster for my xd40 and carrying it under my shirt. I'll still carry a 1911 iwb. I told myself that in honor of open carry being legal, I was gonna buy an H&K Mark 23 to carry open once. Haven't done that just yet though.

Open carry does not apply to me, but now that you can, I would carry a full sized pistol you can shoot well.

This for sure. For me it would be a Hi Power or 1911, which are things I don't generally carry concealed due to their size and weight. And what would the point of open carrying a S&W 642 be? I'd just keep that concealed.

I'd add that I don't plan to open carry much. Mostly I'd expect it would be when I run into town from the lease for more deer corn or a hamburger and don't feel like taking my gun off.
