Weapon of choice for OC

Let me break it down for you.



Me = dont care what people think about carrying openly or if they are or arent.



My post = want to know what people are going to carry, as in a weapon, without peoples thoughts/concerns/ feelings are about OC. So basically this is a firearm thread,.your welcome.

I cant "open carry" due to my "employment" and I'm not trying to high hack your thread..... but

If you do choose to carry open. Please get a good holster that is at least a threat level 2 retention. Also if you have not gone through some type of a "weapon retention" training you might want to look into it. (Weapon retention training is now part of the carry license classes come January 2016.)

Its all fun and games until a wolf sneaks up and takes your weapon from you. Just food for thought.

Prob STI TBH edition 10mm 1911. It isn't the highest capacity pistol on the planet, but it is very accurate, easy to shoot, and it packs a pretty good punch on anything standing in its way.

I would almost consider somthing in 5.7 x 28.
The capability of getting through body armor attractive. I would stack hp/piercing

If I am in the open its gonna have an 18 inch barrel on it and capable. Im not a big fan of open carry but if you do decide to do it make sure you train retention

Same one I carry concealed most of the time. Para Ordnance 1911, single stack alloy frame, 4.25". It can be a little hard to carry concealed for long periods of time so looking forward to OC. Comfort is key, if you aren't comfortable carrying you likely will not carry.
