Open spot on a duck hunt with Guide Cody Malone

Like the title says, I have an open spot for a trip that I have booked with Cody on Tuesday December 22nd. I like to do one or two guide trips a year and had a friend back out so looking to fill that spot.

You will be hunting with one of my friends, me and Cody.

    Required:
    Valid Texas Hunting License
    Federal Duck Stamp
    HIP Certification
    Type 2 APH Permit
    Texas Migratory Game Bird Endorsement

    Personal Gear to Bring:
    Headlamp
    Camo chest waders
    Camo facemask/face paint
    Camo cap
    Camo gloves
    Camo jacket
Shotgun MAKE SURE IT HAS A PLUG
    3-3.5 ” #2 or #3 STEEL SHOT shotgun shells
Small camo bag for shells, gloves, licenses, headlamp, etc.

I believe we will be meeting him/hunting out of sulfur springs for this trip but I will keep you in the loop. My buddy and I will be leaving that morning out of Plano, you can carpool with us if you wish.

Cost is $150 per gun and should be limits all around. We should have the full opportunity to pick and choose which drakes we want to shoot.

Send me a PM to confirm you are in 100%, please do not tell me you are in and then back out when the time comes.

Because it's really nice to get dropped off at your blind and not have to mess with anything else lol.

                  Take me with you then!

Heres a few answers but Black Ice said it best haha

                  1. I like to support small businesses
                  2. I enjoy being a lazy ******* once a year and not have to do any work.
                  3. I do at least one guide trip per year and that trip usually presents itself as the hunt where I shoot the bird I want to put on the wall.

I dont have a kayak but I do have an 18ft xpress to use. Plenty of decoys and motion decoys as well. Laid the hammer down during early teal but public land whooped my rear first split. Ready to get after them next week. Gotta miss opening weekend due to a bass tournament (poor planning on my part) Ill be hunting probably 4 times a week for the rest of the season though. Just shoot me a PM when you wanna go

Why do you need a APH? Might be interested, does he kill a lot of mallards?

Will do. Got the spot filled, will accept another gun if someone else wants to go.

Some of his spots are on public land.

He gets sick for mallards, here's a pic from one of his last hunts of the first split.

I have never hunted with Cody Malone but have heard good things about him. And judging by that pic I would say he has it figure out. Let us know how the hunt goes!

Had a 4 man limit of woodies and a few chances at big groups of greenheads but couldn't get em to finish in my hole, stale birds and need a push bad but still had a great hunt with lots of shooting
