    The Granger 37-pointer

The original post w/pics is here http://discussions.texasbowhunter.co...hlight=granger

The thread is three pages now with basically just a lot of "wows & holy cows."

    New info.

I saw the same pic (as on that post) this morning on an old timer's smartphone at a coffee shop in Elgin. The old fellow offered that the buck scored 244 raw, and that the hunter, a fellow named Henderson, had indeed killed another 200+ buck on the same TPW bow-only unit. (That buck's pic is also on that thread if you scroll down far enough).

Turns out Henderson had previously shot the buck, but not mortally. He found the trail the buck was using (ruts galore), and built a blind out of Granger Lake driftwood.

Pretty amazing that the same hunter managed to kill the same monster he'd previously just wounded. How often does that happen?
