Touchscreen laptops? Keyboard ???

How the heck do you get it to go back to the regular keyboard! It's a dell. Did this once before and I figured it out. I've slept since then and can't make the keyboard work. My IT support runs out past turning it off and on a few times and that's not working! Any ideas?

Mine usually picks up keyboard when I start typing. Otherwise I just close out of it by hitting the "X"
