I don't sweat it. When/if the time comes, you'll know. There will be so much chaos, crime, and murder, folks won't know what to do with themselves. Stockpiles will be stolen and taken by force, etc, etc. You'll just have to do what you'll have to do to survive......IF. I just cannot consume myself with that. I think we have MANY more pressing issues to deal with at this point. This one is not even near the top of my list.

I'm like the other fellas on here, when it happens you will know. As far as the two scenarios you mentioned...will never happen. Deash may be infidel haters but in no way will they ever be able to mount any large war in the streets of America for the same reasons Japan never tried. We own a LOT of guns in America and will defend our soil. Will we have more terror attacks, yes, maybe even another large one but fighting in the streets like over there I just don't see it. The government trying to take our weapons, nope never gonna happen. Push for stricter regulations sure, go after ammo, magazine capacity all that scary black gun crap, I can see them trying. As for confiscation, never, again we own a lot of guns. The police, military or who ever, are gun owners also and sworn to protect the constitution. There would be a large scale revolution again if the government tried that. The police and Military wouldn't want any part of that bloodshed. I would be more worried about a large scale catastrophic natural disaster.

When it's happening, it's too late. If you wait for SHTF to get out of a major city, you're going to have a bad time of it.

Wife and I are moving out away from the city, and will be getting our homestead going fairly soon I hope. Not off grid(still have to earn a living, and I work from home), but will be getting some gardening and stuff going so we're not completely caught with our pants down "if" bad stuff goes down...

EMP's do not require a nuke,, they can be generated other ways.

I'm surprised no-one's mentioned anything about financial collapse. You can't solve your problems by simply printing more money for decades, and not suffer the consequences. If that happens, it'll be an interesting contest to see who steps in to "save" us first.. our ideologically like-minded nato allies, or russia/china(which don't give a rats arse about our constitution or gun rights, btw)

lots of ways we can crash and burn folks... like has been mentioned on here already, all we can do is get right with God, and try to take care of ourselves as best we can.
