I'm jealous. I'm mad at em too but doctors orders (mainly wife threatened my life if I ignore doc and have complications) and no blind for me. Haven't even hunted on 4 weeks AND I have a new bow I really wanna take to the woods.

So since we are practically neighbors I'm living vicariously through you this morning and I hope you whack one.

Pop up is set up along the fence on the edge of a coastal field. Lots of activity usually. I've seen a really nice 8 and a big 12 running doe out here. I'm set up 35 yds from the trail they use after they jump the fence to access the field. I've been hand corning and it's working. No sign of the bucks lately. 36 degrees with no wind. I just got this place so I've haven't set up cameras or any other sets. This place hasn't been hunted in 4 yrs now. 277 acres. I can see this field from the house with binos. I'm gonna sneak in and hang two sets for now. I'll work on it after season.

Good luck! I haven't hunted yet this year so all you that post live hunts have kept me going. I have plans on "moving to my lease" Thursday and have to come back for a work Christmas party then back to lease until the 24th!

Couple of doe is all that came out this morning. Had a hunch to get out and go to the back side where a box blind was left from previous hunters. Never made it to the blind. He big 8 and 12 were chasing doe between me and the box blind. I watched for about 30 min hoping they would walk my way towards the coastal field on the trail. They went the other way so now I'm headed to town to find a tree stand to hang.

I'm tagged out in Oklahoma, I could kill a couple more does but my freezer is full.
Waiting on my hunt at the Mariposa Ranch in Texas on the 18th.
