What's been your biggest challenge this season?

For me it has been getting deer to show up in daylight in front of hunters/camera...

The really wet spring and late fall have made it super green. That's great, but the deer just don't need to move that much. Hopefully it will turn around soon with the girl chasing about to begin!!

Sitting in the cold rain with a bow and not sitting in the gun blind. Need some more covered bow blinds, but I'm determined to stay stick and string all year.

Getting a mature buck. Got the does out of the way but I think the green and weather haven't been helping me to much but I can focus now before Christmas

Rain every time I've been able to hunt and passing on deer that I should have taken. I should know better than to pass on a mature legal buck in east Texas. One reason I hate game cameras. Have one on camera I want and passing others just for him.

Finding out how to find my nighttime dwellers during the day. Trying to figure out where my bucks pre-rut and early rut. Deciding where my time should be spent when it's green. I have only hunted my rifle blind a handful of times this year to see what's coming in to harass my does. For the first time in forever, I have yet to kill a buck and its December. Holding out for a mature buck....roller coaster ride for sure.
