Rut in Junction

Has anybody seen any rut activity in Junction recently?

They were definitely chasing this week between Junction and Sonora.

Saw some chasing in Junction last week.

yes. kinda weird though. some young bucks chasing. some old bucks chasing. some bucks just aint interested. the tarsal glands on some bucks are pitch black, some are a little stained, some are white. since the bad drought and deer die off in 2011, the rut around the junction area has been kinda crazy.

I was out at our lease two weekends ago and seen a lot of activity. Seen a lot of young bucks chasing does. Went out last weekend and still seen a lot of does and a few young bucks but nowhere near as many as the previous weekend.

Still rutting this past weekend. Saw several bucks chasing and rattled in a young 8. Not much interest in corn still.
