We had a scheduled breeding planned for my 3.5 yr old chocolate female "Bella" back in July. She birthed 6 pups, all black. We ended up keeping one of the 2 males and named him "Red". The reason behind his name is simple chance. I put a red paracord collar on him and a blue on the other male. From then on I just asked them by their collar color. Well he quickly picked up on the name Red when I called to him, so we decided to just stick with that name. He was the only puppy that inherited the dams height with the sires build. As a result I expect him to be a very large dog despite both his parents only being mid 60s in weight. Right now he is just shy of 30lbs at 11 weeks old.
