I had black beans and rice. I made a big pot yesterday, with stewed tomatoes, onions, and smoked sausage. Dinner last night and lunch today and still a bunch left.
Put my white beans with smoked neck bones and ham hocks on last night and turned them off this morning. Now they can sit and soak up all those flavorful seasonings while at work today.
Once I get home I will make the rice and skillet corn bread.
