    Camcorder arm..

Does any one close to Tomball or Magnolia area have a camcorder arm (for a tree stand) I can borrow for my trip to Nebraska?

I am pumped! I just picked up a Sony TRV 900 off e-bay and can't wait to use it!

    Thanks in advance.

My dad has a homemade one that I'm sure he'd let you borrow. Or at least look at to see if it would work. but you'd have to attempt to meet up w/ him again

hey thanks guys! I just got word from Landrover right before I hit refresh and saw these posts. I am gonna borrow his Gorilla arm. But just in case that falls through....... I got you guys in mind.

Let me ask this.......... poptart, how much of a pain is it to set up the arm? Am I better off setting it the day before the hunt?

DJ, I also have an extra one of those little Sony Tripods that I spoke to you about too, if you want to borrow it. I can bring it in to work next week if you like.

Nothing to it, I usually set my arm the first hunt of a weekend and leave it up til the end...I like to practice also, I put a lockon about one foot off the ground in my yard and practice using a new arm to get used to it......It might take a minute or two but not long....
