    Today's a day

My dad had a couple of surgeries to remove cancer from his bladder.
Yesterday they removed it and his prostate.

He'll be carrying a urostomy bag for the remainder of his life.

I spoke with him for a few minutes this evening.

Grandpa had his colon removed, they found cancer, 22 days later we buried him, is was 13. He was my boy hood hero. I'm 44 now and just now throwing that out there.

I was talking with my sister about dad, I realized I am genuinely sad for him.
We have no true relationship. Yet my heart hurts for him.
Is he scared he'll follow in the same fashion, is his life what he always thought it would be.
I know he used to go to church regular. His wife died some years back, I was 7 or 8 when him and my mom divorced, he stopped going shortly after. I think he hates/ blames God for her death. My baby brother was 4 I think when she died.

    I'm 800+ miles away..
