    cross bow broadhead question.

I have been using fixed blades in my xbow. I am hunting from the ground and have yet to shoot an animal and it leave a blood trail. This past weekend I shot a doe and never could find her . Soy question is who usesachanical broadhead and what's a good one for xbow ? I'm wanting one with a large cutting diameter.

Brother, I still use the MUZZY fixed blade, but I would recomend the RAGE if you really felt the need to go mechanical. I did try the Rage at first simply because they were out of the Muzzy's. I had a couple of flight issues though, as it appeared to have opened prior to impact. So MUZZY it is for me. Good Luck.

I use NAP Spitfire, but if you hit them right it doesn't matter what you use

Slick trick makes a crossbow trick that is super deadly. Many of deer have fallen victim to this broadhead. Leaves a good blood trail and haven't had an animal go over 49 yards yet.

                  cross bow broadhead question.

My son shot his first deer with a crossbow using slick trick viper tricks. Left a blood trail from the place the doe stood until 75 yards later. Not as much luck on the 2nd one. Shot was low, had good blood for a while and lost it. I don't think the shot was fatal. Turned out the scope was off. My fault, not the broadhead.

                  What heads are you using?

I use the 125gr Nap Spitfire. It's very accurate and leaves a great blood trail.

Grim Reaper Crossbow. They have a heavier spring that prevents it from opening prematurely.

Grim Reaper 125 here too. 1-1/2" cut.

They make a fixed blade in 100 and 125 that could be used as well.

I use slick tricks in 125s. Not a lot of blood trail, because every animal has dropped within 50 yards.
