    Heated Sock/Insoles?

Any one have experience with these pro/cons?

I've never messed with them so I'm not much help. The hot hands for boots work well.

Best advice I was ever given was to spray my feet with deodorant before putting on my socks when its cold out. Keeps your feet from sweating which is typically the culprit in cold weather.

My uncle taught me that trick for when duck hunting on those cold mornings. Obviously when deer hunting you would want to use a scent free aerosol spray or dry powder. Really does work well!

Needs to be an antiperspirant. Not all deodorants are antiperspirant.

I have the Pro Flex insoles. They worked great in 26 degree weather this week.

Man as I was sitting in my blind this passed saturday I spent a lot of time on amazon looking for heated socks/soles and didn't find anything that blew me out of the park....

Anyone have any recommendation on a good quality sock since we are on the subject?

Cold feet? This will help.......wear one pair THIN socks and a wool pair on top. Your boots need to be loose enough to allow some space for the warmth of your body to insulate between the fabric of the boot. Make sense? I know, loose boots aren't great for walking but you can't have everything ;-) Hope it helps.

I deer hunt in Minnesota and can confirm that a tight boot is your enemy.
I second the idea of a light sock like a dress sock and then a wool sock.
Cold feet will take you out of the game quick.
I would love to have the heated insoles but I would never hear the end of it from the natives and I'm not too big on hunting gadgets.
