This is the second time I have heard someone say they would clean a pig in cold weather. What is your reasoning for only doing it then?

I was always taught that when its hot there are worms in the meat. The cold kills off the worms so it's edible.

We shoot and clean pigs year round and have never seen a worm in the meat no matter what the temp is.
