    Ever lost a gun?

Was putting my pistol in the truck today. Put it on the toolbox for a sec while I rearranged some stuff inside the cab. Got finished rearranging and off we go.. drove about 10 mins and had my oh ***** moment.. went back and walked for probably 2 miles in each direction from the house, no luck.. I'm sick about it..

It's been reported to the local sheriff's office to put in tcic just in case it gets picked up and someone tries to pawn it.

Just for my own sake.. it's a S&W M&P 9mm Shield in a black Galco leather iwb holster. It's loaded and chambered with speer gold dot. If by a chance any of yall run across it, call me at 9036516043 and I will confirm the serial number..

Mine has a few Knicks and scratches due to road rash from falling off where I put it outside the truck

Not a gun, but did that one time with my buddy's new Matthews bow!

We were on the way to our lease in San Saba in my then Suburban. He had layed his bow (without a case) on top of our bags and food in the back of the Suburban. Between Goldthwaite and San Saba we had to stop to get something out of somebody's bag. I stopped, opened the back end doors, removed his bow
and placed it on top of the Suburban for access to the bags. We had to, uh relieve ourselves, and retrieved another beverage, and I closed the rear doors and off we went.

We got to the lease, started unloading, and he asked where his bow was! I immediately got sick to my stomach when I realized what I had done! . He used my bow while I drove back looking for it; found it in pieces along the road...exploded! I then remembered feeling the trailer had run over something when we passed that spot on the way!

I bought him a brand new bow and postphoned my new one!

Several (20) years ago - I pulled into a gas station in Argyle Tx. - While getting gas I noticed a hard plastic case laying in the ditch next to the gas station. Got gas - paid - picked up the case, thought it was a drill or something. Open when I got home - it was a 9mm with 2 full clips and extra ammo. I told the store owner, sheriff and post signs - kept the 9 for 2 years - lots of calls but all the wrong gun....I ended up selling it...We always wondered if they were going rob the place since no one ever claimed it.....

Welp, I guess I've done a few good things in my life. A nice guy from close by seen it and picked it up. He has a friend with Dallas pd and called him to run the numbers. Make a long story short, I'm getting my gun back and I owe it to this guy. Makes me have a little bit of hope that good people outside of tbh do still exist.
